Planning a woodland wedding? We have some wonderful wedding inspiration captured by Lindsey Arber Photography, in this beautifully styled shoot........... the colours of the floral arrangements are simply a feast for the eye. Enjoy...
With ‘Woodland Wedding’ as our theme, East Carlton Country Park was the perfect setting with its old wooden cabin and woodland backdrop, and a veranda that gave us enough space to create an intimate setting for the top table.
Honey Bee’s Vintage Tea’s worked their magic, supplying the table and church pew chairs that complimented the cabin exterior, which was then dressed with lots of lovely china, champagne flutes, brass bowls and candle sticks. The table top covered with different types of foliage which wrapped around all of these items making them stand out even more and brining a hint of woodland to the table.
Marion from Bluebell Floristry worked her magic on the cascading bouquet and table flowers using warm tones of deep reds and plums mixed in with lots of foliage to compliment and blend with the surrounds whilst adding a bit of colour.
Victoria’s Cake Company created a beautiful semi naked cake which worked perfectly in the surrounds of the woodland, photographed on a vintage dresser, with foliage escaping from the draws to merge the items with the woodland floor.
Jenna Claire Wedding Stationary provided everything from save the date cards, invitations, rsvp's, information slips, order of the day slips, a seating plan, table names and menus along with name settings all with red berry details and hand drawn woodland creatures to tie in with the woodland theme.
Our bride Raven looked stunning in her tea-length Lottie gown by true bride from Wedding Belles Kibworth. A practical option for real woodland weddings whilst still creating that statement. Teamed with the fur shoulder wrap from Amy's Vintage along with the sage green umbrella, which kept the rain off in a stylish way.
Frankie created an elegant up-do with Ravens hair which was finished off with the gorgeous Nightingale Moonstone Headdress from Miss Clemmie Bridal Accessories. This design included details of feathers, Swarovski Crystal and hand cut Moonstone, tying in nicely with the stationary. With make-up by Beauty by Bethany which consisted of warm browns and golds to create smokey eyes with a deep red on the lips which picked out the reds from the bridal bouquet.
It was all about the Harris Tweed for our groom Kieran's suit, available at Mark’s and Spencer’s. Finished with a simple golden tie to keep the main focus on the button hole which was again supplied by Amy's Vintage.
