Save The Dates
I'm Karin Poolton, the founder and owner of Halo Weddings - bespoke wedding stationery. I design and make bespoke wedding stationery to suit your theme and budget. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding invites, table plans etc.
1 | When should I send the save the dates to my guests
A. Save the dates can be sent approx. 10 to 12 months before the day to both day guests and evening guests (save the evenings). Invites are then sent to all guests approx. 4 to 5 months before the wedding date. This gives enough time to get your RSVP's back in and your final numbers submitted to your venue.
2 | Can I colour match my colour theme ?
A. Yes I offer a wide range of colour cards / ribbons / etc to match to your chosen colour scheme.
3 | What Information is needed on my invites ?
A. On the main invite you will need your full names, date time and location of ceremony, and RSVP by date. On your RSVP you will need your address and also the RSVP by date along with a space for special dietary requirements. You can then include a money poem and also a directions card with your invites to give people more info about the location(s) and also hotel information.
4 | How long will it take for my invites to be made ?
A. My lead time is approx. 2 to 3 weeks.
5 | When do I order my table plan ?
A. You can order your table plan approx. 4 weeks before the wedding, once you have all of your RSVP's back and you decided the layout for your seating plan. This can also be designed to match your colour scheme / invites etc.
