After the big day is over, your wedding photos are what will last forever, a way for you to relive those special memories & share them with your loved ones. Once you’ve found the right photographer for you, how can you get the best out of your photos?
Tip 1 - Get ready in a bright, clean space
When deciding on where you’re going to get ready, it really helps to look out for big windows & a room that isn’t cluttered/has plenty of space. This will allow the photographer to get those beautiful, clean detail shots & the perfect photos of you getting into your dress, without any distractions in the background. Good natural light is not only a big help for your photographer but your make up artist will also thank you! It’s also a great idea to get matching dressing gowns for your bridesmaids. Not only does this make for lovely photos but it’s the perfect keepsake for your girls to remember the day by.
Tip 2 - Hold the first kiss!
I know for most of us, kissing in front of a room full of people isn’t the most natural thing! However, that first kiss photo is one that is treasured & should be a moment you savour too! A quick peck makes it much harder to capture, so hold that kiss & allow your photographer to get that perfect, classic shot.
Tip 3 - Have an engagement shoot
Whether it’s included in your wedding package or an add on, I highly recommend a pre-wedding shoot to help you get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a great opportunity for you to get to know your photographer better before the big day & practise those poses. Your engagement is a special time so it’s nice to have photos to look back on and remember how it felt in the lead up to your big day. I’m sure you’ll find you actually really enjoy getting all cosy for the camera too!
Tip 4 - Relax and Enjoy!
Your wedding day is all about celebrating you as a couple, so relax & let your personalities shine through. The most important thing for the whole day is that you enjoy it. Just let go and really soak every moment in. You’re marrying your best friend, your team mate, the love of your life. Have fun celebrating with all your loved ones & the way you feel will shine through in all the photos.
Everyone deserves to have a beautiful portrait of themselves, whether it's an individual portrait or with a loved one. Documenting that beauty as part of a wedding or event is just as precious - I capture the little moments that make your day special and unique, memories that might otherwise fade. Photos last a lifetime & allow you to treasure the feelings & experiences you're having at that moment the shutter goes.

‘Here comes the sign’
Are you wondering how to keep your guests on track on your big day? We know that first impression always count – especially on your wedding day! Personalised wedding signage is a great way to style your venue, and keep your guests informed.
Here are five ways that you can incorporate wedding signage into your special day:
The ‘Welcome to our wedding’ sign
This is quite possibly our favourite! Not only does it welcome your guests to your ceremony or reception, but it highlights your wedding theme and makes a great first impression. Our wedding signage is usually printed and mounted onto 5mm Foamex board (which is so robust and sturdy!), but we can also print onto fabric! Our fabric wedding welcome signs are great for a rustic wedding, and perfect to hang outside in a lovely tree or on a gate!
The table plan
One of the most important parts of your ‘on the day’ stationery. Your table plan will let all your guests know where they are sitting and who they’ll be sitting with. Your tables are usually numbered, or have an individual name (which is a great way to emphasise your chosen wedding theme!)
'Order Of The Day'
We’ve fallen in love with order of the day signs; they’re a great display piece (whilst also informing your guests). Guests really want to know what to expect, and by displaying an order of the day sign or ‘wedding timeline’, you can give them a taster of what they can look forward to.
The menu board
If you’re not a fan of individual menus for your guests, how about a menu board? Displayed next to your table plan, the menu board can let all your guests know what they will be eating (yum!); leaving your tables free for other stationery such as place cards and wedding favours.
The ‘pick a seat, not a side’ wedding sign
These signs let your family, friends and loved ones know that they can sit wherever they’d like to. Perfect for an informal or relaxed service (and great if you want your guests to mingle!)
Wedding signs look great displayed on an easel, and you could even add flowers and foliage to make your display super pretty (they’re also lovely to keep as a memento of your wedding day!)
We design our personalised wedding signs in a range of sizes and styles, and love to create something special for our brides and grooms to be. If you’d like to discuss any wedding signs for your special day, please get in touch with us via our website: www.iloveandlove.co.uk
